- The Heritage Open Days for 2010 are from Thursday 09 September to Sunday 12 September. Many interesting sites and buildings throughout the country that are not normally accessible will be open to the public. A list of properties open and special events throughout England is available on an English Heritage web site - www.heritageopendays.org.uk. This is the fourth year that Heritage Open Days in the Reigate and Banstead Borough have been co-ordinated and publicised by the Reigate Society. - The next Reigate Society event will be the Members' Evening at 7:30 for 8.00 pm on Monday 11 October. Admission for members only and their guests will be by ticket. There will be light refreshments and a talk by Nicholas Owen (the new president of the Reigate Society) on a career as a reporter and presenter. - HELP URGENTLY NEEDED. A leaflet was distributed with the Society's Newsletter for September 2006 (No 84) explaining the urgent need for more volunteers to come forward and help carry out the Society's work.
